About the Band
We are not just a band. We are a family that happens to play really well together.
How It Started
It started the way most family bands start: somebody brought a guitar to Thanksgiving. Then somebody else grabbed a pair of drumsticks. Before dessert was served, the living room was a rehearsal space.
What started as holiday jam sessions turned into a regular thing. We played a cousin's wedding. Then a neighbor's block party. Then a local bar asked us to fill a Friday night. Pretty soon, we had a name and a phone number on a flyer.
The Davis Family Band is three generations of one Milwaukee family. Grandparents who grew up on Motown and blues. Parents who came of age on classic rock and country. Kids who grew up hearing all of it and adding their own spin. When we play together, every generation in the crowd hears something they love.

Real Chemistry
We do not need to rehearse eye contact. We have been reading each other since birth. That translates to tighter transitions, smoother harmonies, and sets that flow naturally.
Multigenerational Sound
A band of 25-year-olds plays for 25-year-olds. A family band plays for everyone in the room. Your grandma and your college roommate both find something to dance to.
Genuine Fun
We are not performing. We are playing. There is a difference. When the band on stage is genuinely having a good time, the crowd feels it. That is not something you can fake.
Milwaukee Born and Raised
Milwaukee is a music city. From Summerfest to neighborhood block parties, live music is part of the culture here. We grew up going to those shows, and now we play them. We know the venues, we know the crowds, and we know what a Milwaukee audience wants to hear on a warm Friday night.
We play across the greater Milwaukee area: Wauwatosa, Bay View, Brookfield, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, and everywhere in between. We have also traveled for weddings and festivals around the state. If you can get us there, we will play there.
